481: RANT ROOM with Hilliard Guess, Jade Hunter and Me

A crazy thing happened before Sunday’s Super Bowl…I was interviewed by Hilliard Guess on the Screenwriters' RANT ROOM.

Now I’ve listened to this show hella times and had MULTIPLE friends, mentors on this show. Somehow, I was like, “Guess it’s not my time to get invited to the cookout.“ But seriously, Hilliard, what’s good? Jokes aside, I was honored to be on the show. In this episode, Hilliard and guest co-host, emerging filmmaker Jade Hunter Alexandriia, sat down for an in-depth conversation with me. We talk about producing network tv, knowing who you are as a writer, surviving hollywood as a black woman and so much more!

There was a familiarity as we talked and a guilty recognition when we talked about working in Hollywood. I’m still learning, growing and above all - continuing to rise above the negative and excel in this ever evolving industry.
