Bravemaker Film Festival July 11 - 13 with "Saving All My Love"

Hey all, it’s been quite a while. But I’ve got good news

“Saving All My Love” won the Audience Award for Best Short Narrative at the @bravemakerfilmfest 🥴😭💕 Voted by the audience. Like, for real, they really liked our film. To see so many people love our film and come up to say how they’d love to see a longer version of this, it was really amazing. I’m so happy to see how far this film has come and all the festivals, panels and podcasts we were part of to spotlight this beautiful story.

Also your girl also won the Pitch fest prize, 2nd place! I was handpicked to be part of it and only had 24 hours to pitch a project. That project: “WORTH IT”, my feature film. Each person had 5 minutes, to pitch their project. It was moderated by Tristan J. Shuler.  Judges had 5 minutes for questions. Rules: we couldn’t use any video. The goal was to tell my story and engage the jury with an emotional hook that warrants SEED GRANT MONEY! And I did that!

I was awarded at the CLOSING NIGHT PARTY $750 to help move my vision forward. Other prizes included I’ll let you know later…but they’re great!

If you’d like to learn more about the Bravemaker Film Festival, they celebrate diversity and aspire to help foster justice and inclusion across communities through guided discussions and sharing brave stories. Over the three days I was able to talk and learn more about the independent film industry. Especially filming in the bay area.
