2024 - Film Independent Project Involve

2023 ended not so ceremoniously. I was happy to leave it behind.

As we continue to welcome in the new year, I’m happy to announce my new short film “Saving All My Love“ made its first look screening at the DGA on Thursday, January 11th. To see the film on the big screen was amazing and hearing the crowds reaction really solidified how far we’ve come with the film. The details from our beautiful production and art design team really helped the story come alive from the script. I stand in awe of our cast and crew’s talent.

I know I keep on reiterating my story of how I ended up in the program, especially on social media. But I need you to know how important and special this program has been.

I applied to Project Involve on and off for over 10 years. I started off as a volunteer of @filmindependent back in 2010 for their directors close-ups, award shows, screenings and even at the festivals until 2013. I finally stopped when I entered into the working world of production and the writers rooms.

It was not until I got into the program January 2023, did I finally understand how special and monumental this program would be in my career. The people I have met, have become friends with, and now colleagues, they’ve inspired, pushed, helped me grow and I’m thankful for your support. I hope I can continue to support you as well. There’s so much I could say, but you can truly see it through this film how much love was given and how hard everyone on team #SAML worked. Thank you sincerely to @hola.my_peeps @joeniquer for answering and inquiring about ALL my questions, comments, breakdowns, happy moments and more.
