JKS Diversity Fellowship Winners Announced! (Kristina Thomas)

REPOST:

“Dear Writers,

Jacob Krueger Studio is proud to announce the finalists of our JKS Diversity Fellowship.

Finalists: Kristina Thomas, Jerrica Long

Finalists Kristina Thomas & Jerrica Long will receive a full scholarship to a Write Your Screenplay or Write Your TV Series class.

We are so excited to welcome these new talented writers into our writing community.

The inaugural JKS Diversity Fellowship is designed to support the development and education of writers from diverse backgrounds. It was created out of a partnership between the JKS Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the Each One Teach One program at The Parity Project, run by our newest faculty member, Ron McCants, who nominated so many wonderful writers to be considered for the fellowship.

This is the first of many initiatives you will see in the coming year from Jacob Krueger Studio as we work to stand up for racial justice, foster a diverse community of writers at our school, and amplify the voices of black, indigenous and people of color. Thank you for joining us in building a more inclusive, more diverse and more vibrant world.

- The JKS Diversity & Inclusion Committee”
